What the money is actually buying
Four things, and a figure attached to fewer than four is not really a figure. The first is a person: named to you, holding a qualification in the subject, still holding your course in the ninth week. The second is a scope you can read, listing by name what is covered and saying openly what is not.
The third is a remedy, written before you pay, describing what follows if something lands late or lands wrong. The fourth is discretion arranged structurally rather than promised in a sentence. Establish all four before money moves.

How the payment itself should be arranged
Money should reach a business, through an ordinary card processor, and appear on your statement under a name that means nothing to anybody reading beside you. Requests to pay a private individual, or in vouchers, or in a currency that cannot be recalled, are worth declining however reasonable the explanation sounds.
Nothing is owed here for an assessment and nothing is owed for turning one down. Larger engagements are commonly staged, so an opening portion settles the first stretch of work and the balance follows the deliveries it belongs to, which keeps both parties attentive to the schedule. The written terms put that in the same words for everybody.
The signs the work will be handed on
An instant number has not been calculated. It has been selected from a range somebody set months ago, and it will be reconciled later by whoever accepts the job cheaply. The same goes for a house that will not name the qualification of the person who writes, or that answers a question about credentials with a paragraph about quality.
Enthusiasm about scope is the other tell. A serious arrangement narrows toward the one course causing trouble, or the weekly threads rather than the whole shell. Anyone agreeing to everything at once has not read your syllabus.

None of this is an inconvenience to answer. A patron who has settled who writes, what is covered and what happens when a date slips needs no reassuring in the seventh week.
The same standard governs refusal. Where nobody holds the credential a course requires, or a term has already lost more than remains available to it, that is said in the assessment rather than after payment. Questions may be put to the assigned specialist at any point.
What will appear on my bank statement?
A discreet business descriptor that names no university, no coursework and no academic service. Accounts carry no institutional detail, correspondence goes to whatever address you nominate, and the particulars of an engagement are visible to the specialist holding it and to nobody further. Patron letters published on this site carry initials alone, which is the same policy applied to everything a patron sends.
I paid somebody else and got nothing usable. What now?
Say so when you write. Salvage and a fresh start are separate pieces of work priced differently, so a specialist needs to see what exists before judging which is cheaper for you. Send the draft, the prompt and any feedback already received. Where the material genuinely cannot be rescued you will be told that plainly instead of charged to attempt it.
