Because a deadline is what most working adults actually schedule around, and without one the work drifts to whatever evening happens to be free. The stall is rarely the writing. It is the fortnight spent deciding where to begin. The desk answers that by fixing dates the school does not fix, one for each outstanding assessment, agreed with you and visible from the first day of an engagement.

Marks do not accumulate the way they do in a graded course. Each criterion in the scoring guide is judged on its own, and an assessment can come back because one of five was not met while the other four were strong. Work is therefore built criterion by criterion, under headings that echo the guide's own wording, so a faculty reader finds every judgment where they expect it.

Not necessarily. Many patrons are sent finished documents and upload them, which keeps every submission an act of their own. Others hand across access because uploading at two in the morning was precisely the part they wanted rid of. Both arrangements are ordinary, the setting is yours to change, and whichever you choose the record kept at this end carries a reference instead of your name.

A site willing to have you, a preceptor whose license and specialty match what the program requires, an affiliation agreement executed between that site and the university, and the program's own approval recorded somewhere you can point to. Hours worked before that approval exists are the ones argued over later. Paperwork is treated here as the first deliverable of a practicum rather than an afterthought to it.
